The Columbus Minority Chamber of Commerce would like to welcome our Interim Vice President Angela Verdejo, General Sales Manager at Davis Broadcasting. Angela has over 18 years in experience in helping small and minority owned businesses.

Columbus GA is about 100 miles south of Atlanta GA. In 2009 According to the 2000 census Columbus GA had an estimated population of 186,291. It's the third largest city in the state of GA with a racial make up of 50.42% White, 43.74% African American, 1.54% Asian, 0.38% Native American, 0.14% Pacific Islander and 1.90% from other races. Hispanic of any race were 4.49% of the population according to the 2009 census.
